National Junior Honor Society now accepting applications

Beginning Monday, April 1, the National Junior Honor Society is accepting applications for new members.  Students must have at least a 90 GPA and no referrals to qualify.  NJHS is an international organization that promotes and recognizes scholarship, service, leadership, character and citizenship.  Aren’t sure if you qualify?  Fill out an application and find out!  Applications are available in the cafeteria.  Applications are due April 15.

The Florida Department of Education serves Santa Rosa students with disabilities and their families through three discretionary programs. For complete information, view the flyer (pdf format).

The Florida Diagnostic & Learning Resources System (fdlrs.org) provides diagnostic, instructional, and technology support services to the district’s ESE programs, but also to families of students with disabilities. The site for the local program is fdlrsemeraldcoast.org.

The Florida Inclusion Network collaborates with districts and schools to provide customized services: floridainclusionnetwork.com.

SEDNET, the Multiagency Network for Students with Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities supports districts and families on behalf of children who have or are at risk of emotional and behavioral challenges. sednetfl.info.
