Coupon Book Fundraiser

Today, each student received information about participating in our annual Coupon Book Fundraiser, which we will be conducting from September 12 to September 22.  We will be selling FundRays savings books, which offer valuable coupons to many local eateries and other establishments.  Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used for student rewards, classroom and teacher support including supplies and equipment, and school enhancements. Literacy Week 2017

January 23-27 is literacy week! In honor of literacy week, WBMS classes are participating in a door-decorating contest. In addition, students are invited to dress up each day according to the following themes: Monday: Dress Camo day –“Hunt for a good book” Tuesday: Wear crazy socks day – “Sock it to reading” Wednesday: Wear sports apparel for sports day –“Score with a good book” (Like Ms. Watts in the picture to the left!) Sandra Haro, School-Related Employee of the Year

  Mrs. Sandra Haro, head of the ISS program at Woodlawn, thinks the students at WBMS make her job easier. “The students are well-behaved and respectful,” she says. “They are always eager to learn.” This, coupled with what she says is a desire to excel, makes her love her job at WBMS.
