Coupon Book Fundraiser

WBMS Families, we have finally finished tallying the sales for the Annual Coupon Book Fundraiser. This campus wide fundraiser was a success! While we started slow, we finished strong. Our top selling classes were Ms. Schroeder, Ms. Hensley, and Ms. Todorovich.  We will be celebrating them and the top selling students at a celebration party soon. We thank you deeply for your support. We are trying to create a community at Woodlawn that does special and innovative things for our students, and that sometimes requires funding, funding that we would NOT receive from other sources. Team Up for United Way of Santa Rosa County

Starting today, Tuesday, October 10, we are having a fundraising event in our cafeteria.  We are hosting a ‘Penny War’ to raise money for the United Way of Santa Rosa County.  United Way is a local organization that does charitable work in and for the residents of our own county. The way the ‘Penny War’ works is that students and faculty will donate spare change, to one of five buckets on the stage in the cafeteria.  Each bucket is labeled with a different team, the Gulf Breeze Dolphins, the Navarre Raiders, the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Florida Gators, and the Florida State Seminoles.  You...

Vendors Need for Our First Annual Vendor Showcase!

Let this be our official invitation to you, to join us for our 1st Annual ‘Fall into Woodlawn’ Vendor Showcase.  On Thursday, October 19th, from 5:30 – 8:00, come out for an evening of family fun!  We will have vendors of all sorts and the various goods, wares, gifts, merchandise, and products that they have for sale.  Come shop!  Then, for the kids, we’ll have activities like face painting, a free throw contest, a bounce house, game rooms, a cornhole tournament, movie rooms, escape rooms, and other fun activities. October is Bullying Prevention Month

WBMS will be recognizing Bullying Prevention Month throughout October.  We have a number of activities planned throughout this month, to help us ‘Take a Stand Against Bullying’.  Our October HERO Friday will focus on kindness, acceptance, awareness, and community.  We will reinforce these themes throughout the month.  We will also have our ‘Lend a Hand, Take a Stand’ pledge activity, where students pledge through handstamps to be an Upstander, not a Bystander. National School Lunch Week

Wildcat families, WBMS and the SRCSD Food Services Department will be celebrating National School Lunch Week from October 9th – 13th.
