Students- Here is an opportunity to earn Community Service Hours. The Gulf Coast Arts Festival (Children’s Area) located at Bartram Park (On the Bay in Pensacola) is in need of volunteers for the following days: Friday, Nov 4 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (only for students who are not in class on Fridays, i.e. dual enrolled students.) Saturday, Nov 5 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, Nov 6 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Volunteers are needed 1 hour before opening times to set up the booths and half an hour after closing times to put things away. Navarre High School will be giving the PSAT/NMSQT Test on Wednesday, October 19th to all 10th graders. If you are an 11th grader and would like to take the test to potentially qualify as a National Merit Scholar, please sign up on the stage in Cafeteria 1 from 8:40-9:15am on Monday, September 19th. First come, first served basis as seats are available on a limited basis. The cost is $15, nonrefundable, and is due at the time of sign-up. Cash is acceptable. Checks can be made payable to NHS.
