The Data Processing Department is migrating ALL STAFF mailboxes to Office 365.  We don’t expect this change to have any impact on using email from within the district.  However the process for accessing your district email from outside the district will change (but the change is GOOD).  The below steps will assist you with making this change. How do I know if my mailbox has been moved?

  • When you go to Webmail you get alert the below

  • The orange link you will see on that page will take you to the Office 365 login page, but you can also get to Office 365 from Classlink or by using this link https://portal.office.com
  • If webmail still works, then your mailbox has not been moved.

How do I Log into Office 365?

Navigating Office 365 – All Staff already have an Office 365 account, so you can log in even if your mailbox has not been moved.

  1. Go to https://portal.office.com and use your district username in the following format username@santarosa.k12.fl.us or access using Classlink.
    • If you are outside the district network, you will be redirected to the district authentication site (sts.santarosa.k12.fl.us)
      • Enter you username and password and click Sign in
    • If you are inside the district network you will not see the second authentication screen since you are already authenticated.
    • Once authenticated you will arrive at the Office 365 landing page

  2. Click the Mail icon to open Outlook Web Access (OWA).  It will look more like the Outlook you use on your district computer.
  • Your email and personal calendar is available in OWA.
  • In the top left corner you will see the App Drawer (AKA the Waffle).  The waffle appears on every page in Office 365, allowing you to launch any Office 365 app without returning to the launch page.
